Full Time Temporary Teacher (Maternity Leave)

Main Pay Scale 1 - 2
 

The governors of Eaglesfield Paddle CE Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motived, hardworking and passionate teacher, to join our outstanding school.  We are recruiting for a temporary fixed term one year contract from January 2021 until January 2022.  This contract is for one year only to teach in Key Stage 2. There may be an opportunity for the post to start in November 2020 depending on the successful candidate’s availability.

Salary PCD8i Scale Point 19 £24,799 (FTE)
 

This vacancy is a rare opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to gain a permanent full time term time only position in our school. 

The governors of Eaglesfield Paddle CE Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motived, hardworking and passionate Early Years specialist, to join our outstanding school.  We are recruiting for a full time Early Years Specialist to teach our Nursery children.

 

  • Applications are welcome from Early Years Practitioners with a HLTA or equivalent qualification currently working as Senior or Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

Eaglesfield Paddle CE Primary Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks which will include References, Health, Right to Work in UK, DBS and, a Declaration that neither they nor anyone who lives in the same household is a disqualified person under the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009.

Foundation Governors

The Carlisle Diocesan Board of Education are seeking to appoint a number of Foundation Governors to join our outstanding school governing body.  This is a for a four year term of office and would include attendance at six meeting of the full board of governors each year, along with attendance at a minimum of six sub-committee meetings each year.  In addition to this there would be an expectation to make a contribution towards project groups and working parties to support the school’s leadership team in the efficient running of the academy.

 

Foundation Governors are required by law to preserve and develop the religious character of the school, and have the wisdom and common sense to fulfil the role.  You should have Christian faith and preferably regular contact with a church, experience of school or work with young people would be helpful.  In particular we are specifically looking for candidates who have skills in marketing and public relations, the law, buildings and health & safety or in the education sector.

 

Training will be provided by the diocese and the local authority.
