The closing date to apply for a Reception school place for September 2027 is 15 January 2027.
If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, they will be due to start Reception in September 2027. You must apply for a school place, even if your child currently attends our nursery.
School Admission Appeals Timetable 2027
Appeals relating to Reception admissions for September 2027 will be heard according to the following timetable:
Appeals lodged after the deadline will still be considered. Where possible, late appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
All appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing.
All appellants will be sent a copy of the school's case a reasonable time before the date of the hearing.
If an appellant wishes to submit additional evidence which was not included with their initial appeal, this must be received within a reasonable time before the hearing date. Any additional evidence or information received too late may not be considered by the appeal panel. The panel will decide whether it should be considered, taking into account its significance and whether the hearing would need to be adjourned.
