Salary BS10 - £28,221.00-£29,909.00 Pro-rata term time plus two week

The governors of Eaglesfield Paddle CE Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, outstanding School Business Manager to help lead our outstanding school.

Foundation Governor

The Carlisle Diocesan Board of Education are seeking to appoint a Foundation Governor to join our outstanding school governing body.  This is a for a four year term of office and would include attendance at six meeting of the full board of governors each year, along with attendance at six sub-committee meetings each year.  In addition to this there would be an expectation to make a contribution towards project groups and working parties to support the school’s leadership team in the efficient running of the academy.


Foundation Governors are required by law to preserve and develop the religious character of the school, and have the wisdom and common sense to fulfil the role.  You should have Christian faith and preferably regular contact with a church, experience of school or work with young people would be helpful.  In particular we are specifically looking for candidates who have skills in marketing and public relations, the law, or buildings and health & safety.


Training will be provided by the diocese and the local authority.
