World Book Day 2019. This year we focused on outdoor learning for WBD taking our stories outside. Year 1 read books written by Beatrix Potter. We made a nest from Jemina Puddle Duck, found natural "clothes" for Miss Tiddy Winkle to wash and created amazing houses for Mrs Tiddle Mouse. What a great day! xxx

I can see the long. green grass swaying in the wind.

I can hear the little birds singing in the tall trees.

I can smell the fresh air swirling past my nose.

I can touch the rough, hard bark on the tree.

I can taste the crunchy, sweet apple.
